The original Ivory Bar soap was developed in 1879 by Harley Procter. It was developed with pure & purposeful ingredients. It was meant to be a staple in the home and mild enough to be used for the whole family. Ivory was pure. 99.44% pure to be exact.
The same pure floating bar is still available today and still provides a reliable and squeaky clean.
