We respectfully acknowledge that what we now call Jasper National Park, is located in Treaty 6 and 8 territories. This land is the traditional territory, meeting ground, gathering place, travelling route and home for the Dane-zaa, Nêhiyawak, Anishinaabe, Secwépemc, Nakota, and Métis Nations. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit people who have lived in, and cared for, these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on, places we visit, and the land where Jasper mettra Pharmacy sits.
